How do You Spell ‘Office’?

Not like this.
From our hotel in Mar del Plata, this age old mistake was repeated on each floor and carefully painted around time after time.
Strangely, the little room was not an office or anything approximating on office. It was a closet with a little gas burner and teapot with a sink and several water damaged cabinets.
Gotta love the persistence with which some people pursue their errors.
The Vespa store next to my apartment building was putting up some new custom signs. I popped in to say, “Hey, do you really sell Assessories?” “Oh, is that spelled wrong?” they asked.
Eye roll.
Are you sure it’s not pronounced “oh-fee-chay”?
Maybe in an unknown dead language “oficce” means “closet”… ;-P
